  Arkansas is well known for producing talented performers, and ARKAN- SAS ENTERTAINERS HALL OF FAME, located inside the Pine Bluff Convention Center at One Conven- tion Center Plaza in Pine Bluff, is a place where visitors can learn more about the stars. The museum fea- tures a life-size “singing” animatronic likeness of the late Johnny Cash, and a fascinating display of memorabilia from Arkansas’ biggest and brightest stars. Admission is free. GRANT COUNTY MUSEUM was established in 1963, and finally moved into its current, purpose-built home in 1994. Museum collections are displayed in 7 galleries: a collection of Arkla company artifacts, exhibits pertaining to local wartime participation in World War II, an antique automobile gallery that includes one of the state’s largest collections of advertising memorabilia, artifacts from the Red River Campaign and the Engagement at Jenkins’ Ferry of the Civil War, a collection of World War II vehicles, artifacts reflecting upon local participation in the Korean and Vietnam Wars and artifacts from Grant County’s participation in the Desert Storm and Iraqi Freedom conflicts. Outside, visitors can explore a Depression-era church, a 1920s diner, a reconstructed Masonic lodge, an 1870s dogtrot house with outbuildings, a 1900s Victorian dwelling, a law/doctor’s office, a working blacksmith shop, and a 1934 Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) fire tower, all moved to the museum’s Her- itage Square from their original locations. Located at 521 Shackelford Road, Sheridan, the museum is open Tuesday through Friday, 9:00AM to 4:00PM, Saturday, 10:00AM to 3:00PM, closed Sunday, Monday and legal holidays.
